A recent study by a personal finance company has ranked U.S. states based on 17 key metrics related to volunteering, service, and charitable giving. According to the study, Florida ranks 43rd overall for charity. The state stands out for having the lowest volunteer rate, placing 46th for volunteering and service, and 21st for charitable donations.
Georgia follows closely with a ranking of 28th overall. It placed 41st for volunteering and service but performed better in charitable giving, ranking 6th.
Wyoming topped the list as the most charitable state, while New Mexico was found to be the least charitable state in the study.
