Two Suspects Arrested in Lexington Park Shooting; One Still At Large

Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, have apprehended two suspects in connection with a shooting in Lexington Park. Mark Albert Fenwick, Jr., 32, of Park Hall, MD, and Jarrell Raheim Johnson, 36, of Prince Frederick, MD, were taken into custody today in Prince Frederick.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday, October 30, in the 22000 block of Valley Estates in Lexington Park. One suspect, Charles Henry Thompson, 30, of Lexington Park, MD, remains at large. Thompson is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 162 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information regarding Thompson’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 301-475-8008.

Fenwick faces a total of nine charges, including attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, aggravated assault, armed robbery, robbery, theft of between $100 and $1,500, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, and rogue and vagabond. Johnson has been charged as an accessory after the fact. Following their arrest, both suspects were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown.
