An armed robbery in Redwood City has raised alarm among local residents. The Redwood City Police Department received reports of the crime around 1:00 P.M. yesterday in the vicinity of Arguello Street and D Street.
According to police, 3-4 suspects armed with handguns targeted multiple victims, demanding jewelry and other valuables during the brazen daylight heist. Although a gun was fired during the incident, fortunately, no one was injured by gunfire or sustained serious injuries.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV before law enforcement arrived, prompting heightened anxiety within the community. The Redwood City Police Department is actively investigating the incident and searching for the suspects, who remained at large at the time of the initial investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the robbery to come forward. “Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Redwood City Police Department’s non-emergency number at (650) 780-7100,” stated the department.
