In-N-Out Burger is set to open its newest location in the Bay Area on Thursday, October 3. The highly anticipated restaurant will be situated at 709 Harder Ave. in Hayward, just a mile away from the Cal State East Bay campus.
Like all In-N-Out locations, this new restaurant will operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., extending to 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The opening comes on the heels of a significant event for the fast food chain earlier this year, as it closed its East Bay location in Oakland, marking the first time an In-N-Out had shut down.
The announcement of the Hayward opening was first reported by KRON4 in August while the restaurant was still under construction. As customers prepare to visit, they should brace for heavy traffic, particularly during late-night hours. Nearby, a Raising Cane’s that opened in August has already seen long lines for both dine-in and drive-thru services, with reports of wait times extending up to an hour for signature chicken fingers.
Tawny Blow, a seasoned employee with 21 years of experience, will manage the Hayward location. The restaurant plans to hire around 80 associates, offering competitive starting wages of $23 per hour. For those interested in employment opportunities, additional information can be found on In-N-Out’s official website.
