Norv Turner Takes on Senior Advisor Role with Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have appointed Norv Turner as a senior offensive advisor following the firing of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. Here’s a closer look at Turner:

Coaching Experience:

Turner started his coaching career in 1975 and has over four decades of experience in the NFL. He served as an NFL head coach for 15 years, with stints at Washington, the Raiders, and the Chargers. Notably, he was the Raiders’ head coach in 2004-2005 under the late Al Davis.

Ties to the 2024 Raiders:

Turner’s son, Scott Turner, is currently serving as the Raiders’ interim offensive coordinator.
