SSDI payments from December 11 through December 24, Social Security confirms disability checks of up to $3,822

According to Vibes.okdiario , After the SSDI payment on December 3, there will be three more SSDI paydays in December for those who qualify. If you received your Disability Insurance payment on December 3, you may also be eligible for an SSI payment on December 31, 2024.

For those who have not yet received the SSDI payment, the next payments are scheduled for December 11, 18, or 24. Normally, SSDI payments are issued on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of the month, but there’s an important change this December.

SSDI Payments Schedule for December

Not all SSDI payments will be issued on Wednesdays this month. The Social Security Administration has announced that due to the December 25 federal holiday, the third Wednesday payment will be issued on Tuesday, December 24. The other payments will still be delivered on Wednesdays, December 11 and 18.

Here’s the breakdown of SSDI payment dates for December, based on your birth date:

• December 11: For those born between the 1st and 10th of the month
• December 18: For those born between the 11th and 20th of the month
• December 24: For those born between the 21st and 31st of the month

Will Your SSDI Payment Be $1,542?

Each SSDI recipient’s payment amount can vary based on factors such as work history, earnings, and the age at which they filed for benefits.

For 2024, the maximum SSDI payment is $3,822, but this amount will increase to $4,018 starting in 2025 due to a 2.5% COLA increase. The average SSDI payment is approximately $1,542, but your payment may be higher or lower depending on your individual circumstances.

The 2025 COLA increase will be reflected in payments made starting January 3, 2025, and continuing through January 22, 2025. However, none of the December SSDI payments will include this COLA adjustment.
