SNAP recipients who will get up to $1,756 through December 23 in the United States, check paydays

According to Vibes.okdiario , Several states are continuing to issue SNAP benefits for December 2024 through December 23, though they each follow different systems for distributing payments. While all of these states receive funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), they manage the payment schedule differently.

SNAP Benefits in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, and Indiana

Alabama will distribute SNAP benefits based on the last two digits of a recipient’s case number. For example, if the case number ends in 40-44, benefits will be issued on December 12, and payments will continue in ascending order by case number through December 23.

Delaware assigns payment dates based on the first letter of the recipient’s last name. For example, those with a last name starting with “K” will receive benefits on December 12. Payments will continue in alphabetical order, with those whose last names begin with “Q” or “R” receiving their benefits on December 18, and those whose last names begin with “X,” “Y,” or “Z” on December 23.

Georgia organizes payments based on the last two digits of the recipient’s ID number. For instance, those whose ID ends in 40-49 will receive benefits on December 13, and the schedule continues in groups, with payments issued on December 23 for IDs ending in 90-99.

Indiana schedules benefits based on the first letter of the recipient’s last name. For example, those whose last name starts with “H” or “I” will get benefits on December 11, and the distribution continues alphabetically, with those whose last name starts with “W,” “X,” “Y,” or “Z” receiving benefits on December 23.

SNAP Benefits in Louisiana and Maryland

Louisiana uses the recipient’s Social Security number to determine the payment date. For instance, if a person’s Social Security number ends in 4, they will receive their benefits on December 13. The schedule continues in order, with the last payment issued on December 23 for Social Security numbers ending in 9.

Maryland assigns payment dates based on the first three letters of a recipient’s last name. For example, those with last names starting with “HAY” or “JAB” will get their benefits on December 12, and payments will continue in alphabetical groups, with those whose last name starts with “WET” or “ZZZ” receiving payments on December 23.

Each of these states has its own unique system for distributing SNAP benefits, ensuring that payments are made throughout December, with the final payouts happening just before Christmas. For more information on specific payment schedules, recipients are encouraged to visit their state’s SNAP program website or contact the relevant department.
