These products were sold between August 1, 2024, and October 20, 2024, and have expiration dates ranging from February 1, 2025, to April 20, 2025. They were packaged in clear plastic with Grand Central Bakery’s branded stickers, which failed to indicate the presence of egg. Consumers can find the expiration date on the exterior of the packaging.

Discovery of the Allergen
The presence of undeclared egg was identified by a Grand Central Bakery employee after the affected products had already been distributed. In a statement to Newsweek, Grand Central Bakery CEO Claire Randall reassured consumers that the pie dough products made during the listed sales and expiration dates are safe for those without an egg allergy.
Randall stated, “The presence of egg does not affect the quality or taste. No illnesses have been reported, and we discovered the issue through our own team. We are working closely with the FDA to follow their protocols.”
