If you did not get Social Security today, here’s when you can get a payment of up to $4,873 without the 2025 COLA increase

According to Vibes.okdiario, Today, millions of retirees received their Social Security payments from the Social Security Administration (SSA). However, not all recipients of retirement benefits qualify for the same payday, which can vary based on specific criteria.

Payment on October 3

If you began receiving monthly Social Security payments before May 1997, you are eligible to receive your check or direct deposit on October 3. Additionally, if you receive both Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and retirement benefits, you will also receive your payment on this date.

Upcoming Social Security Payments in October

There are three remaining rounds of Social Security payments scheduled for Wednesdays in October. It’s essential to note that you can only receive one of these payments if you are not eligible for the October 3 payment. This typically means that you began receiving Social Security benefits after April 30, 1997, and you are not receiving SSI.

Payments Based on Birth Date

The SSA has specific payment dates based on recipients’ birth dates:

  • October 9: For retirees whose birthdays fall between the 1st and 10th of any month.
  • October 16: If your birthday is between the 11th and 20th, you will receive your retirement benefit payment on the third Wednesday of October.
  • October 23: The final payment of the month will be issued on the fourth Wednesday. This payment is for retirees whose birthdays are between the 21st and 31st.

Important Note on November Payments

If you received your payment on October 3, you will not receive your next check or direct deposit on November 3. Instead, it will be issued earlier, on November 1, as indicated by the Social Security Administration.
