While some states have already completed their distributions, others still have several paydays left for eligible recipients.

Eligible families can receive the following amounts in October, reflecting the 2025 Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA):

- Individual: Up to $292

Average Payments and Eligibility
Some Food Stamp recipients may not qualify for the full SNAP benefit amount, resulting in payments closer to the average amount. For instance, the average payment for a family of three after the COLA increase is $594.
