All SNAP recipients in these States will get all their new Food Stamps (up to $292-1,756) on a single payment date

According to Vibes.okdiario ,  The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will issue benefits across the U.S. from December 1 through December 28, 2024. However, the dates vary by state and territory. Some states issue payments on a single day, while others have staggered schedules for distributing benefits.

States with Single Payment Date

Several states and territories issue all SNAP benefits on a single day, December 1, 2024. These include:

  • Alaska
  • Vermont
  • Rhode Island
  • North Dakota
  • U.S. Virgin Islands

In these locations, all Food Stamp recipients will receive their benefits on December 1, without the need for a payment schedule.

SNAP Payment Amounts

The amount of SNAP benefits varies by state and household size. In Alaska, where inflation is higher than in the 48 contiguous states, residents can expect larger payments. For instance, a family of 8 in Alaska’s Rural 2 areas may receive up to $3,516. An individual in Alaska can get between $377 in cities and up to $586 in Rural 2 areas.

For other states like North Dakota, Rhode Island, and Vermont, payment amounts follow this structure:

  • $292 for an individual
  • $536 for a household of 2
  • $768 for 3
  • $975 for 4
  • $1,158 for 5
  • $1,390 for 6
  • $1,536 for 7
  • $1,756 for 8
  • $220 for each additional member
