3284 Stimulus Payment Eligibility: Are You Qualified for This Month’s Payment?

According to Marca, Residents of Alaska can access up to $3,284 through various state benefits in 2024, aimed at helping locals cope with the harsh winter and rising energy costs.

Breakdown of the Stimulus Checks

The benefits, administered by the Alaska Department of Revenue, will be distributed in two parts, allowing residents to manage their resources effectively during freezing temperatures that can plummet to -15°F.

  1. Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD): This payment, amounting to $2,634, comes from profits generated by the sales of Alaska’s natural resources. It is distributed annually, meaning qualifying residents can claim it again in 2025.
  2. Energy Relief Payment: This one-time payment contributes the remaining $650. Unlike the PFD, this payment will not be available in subsequent years as things currently stand.
