$1,756 in SNAP Payments: Are You Eligible for Food Stamps in These Six States?
SNAP payments will be delivered to EBT cards in six states through October 23, 2024. These states, listed in alphabetical order, are Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, and Maryland. While other states will also be distributing Food Stamps, these are the only ones scheduled to do so until the specified date.
Alabama SNAP Payment Schedule
In Alabama, SNAP benefits are distributed based on the last two digits of the recipient’s case number. The payment dates for October are as follows:
- October 15: Recipients with case numbers ending in 55-59.
- October 23: Recipients with case numbers ending in 95-99.
Delaware SNAP Payment Schedule
Delaware’s SNAP benefits are issued according to the first letter of the recipient’s last name. The schedule is as follows:
- October 15: Last names beginning with N.
- October 16: Last names beginning with O.
- October 17: Last names beginning with P.
- October 18: Last names beginning with Q or R.
- October 19: Last names beginning with S.
Georgia SNAP Payment Schedule
In Georgia, SNAP benefits are delivered based on the last two digits of the recipient’s ID number. The payment schedule is as follows:
- October 15: ID numbers ending in 50-59.
- October 17: ID numbers ending in 60-69.
- October 19: ID numbers ending in 70-79.
- October 21: ID numbers ending in 80-89.
- October 23: ID numbers ending in 90-99.
Indiana SNAP Payment Schedule
Indiana will distribute SNAP benefits based on the first letter of the recipient’s name according to the following schedule:
- October 15: Names beginning with M or N.
- October 17: Names beginning with O, P, Q, or R.
- October 19: Names beginning with S.
- October 21: Names beginning with T, U, or V.
- October 23: Names beginning with W, X, Y, or Z.
Louisiana SNAP Payment Schedule
In Louisiana, SNAP benefits are determined by the last digit of the recipient’s Social Security number:
- October 17: Ends in 6.
- October 19: Ends in 7.
- October 21: Ends in 8.
- October 23: Ends in 9.
Maryland SNAP Payment Schedule
Maryland distributes SNAP benefits based on the first three letters of the recipient’s last name, following this schedule:
- October 15: Last names from LOY to MCO.
- October 16: Last names from MCP to NEF.
- October 17: Last names from NEG to PGZ.
- October 18: Last names from PHA to RIC.
- October 19: Last names from RID to SDZ.
- October 20: Last names from SEA to STC.
- October 21: Last names from STD to TRA.
- October 22: Last names from TRB to WES.
- October 23: Last names from WET to ZZZ.
