Allegations Against Cash App

The class action lawsuit alleged that Cash App and its parent company, Block (formerly known as Square), failed to implement necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access and protect user data. Furthermore, plaintiffs claimed that the company inadequately addressed customer complaints regarding security breaches and fraudulent transactions.

Although Cash App denied any wrongdoing, the settlement allows them to avoid the expenses associated with further litigation.
