“Double Payments in November: SSI Checks Issued on November 1, with SNAP Benefits in 15 States”

For many recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the timing of payments can significantly impact their tight budgets. Good news is on the horizon for SSI beneficiaries, as they will receive two checks in November: one for the current month and another in advance for December, scheduled for November 29, 2024.

SSI Payments and SNAP Benefits on November 1

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has confirmed that the next SSI payment will be issued on November 1. In tandem, the USDA and its Food and Nutrition Service have outlined the states that will begin distributing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits on the same day. In some states, recipients will receive their SNAP benefits exclusively on November 1, aligning with the SSI payment schedule.

States Offering SNAP Payments and SSI on the Same Day
