On the evening of Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Orlando Police responded to a report of an assault involving a knife at the Fountains at Metrowest Apartments on Westgate Drive. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the suspect in a second-story apartment with the door open. Despite initial non-compliance with commands to raise his hands, the suspect eventually placed his hands behind his back after several minutes, allowing officers to safely detain him without further incident.

A knife, believed to be the weapon involved, was recovered at the scene, averting any potential harm. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Sean Lucas, was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Lucas’s bond was set at $5,000. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
