A new app called “Death Clock” claims to predict how much time people have left to live. The creators say it provides a more accurate estimate of users’ death dates using AI technology.
The app not only predicts when users might die but also encourages them to take actions to extend their lives. After answering a series of questions about gender and lifestyle habits, users are given a death estimate based on over 1,000 studies on longevity and related topics.
Once the prediction is made, the app provides suggestions on how users can improve their lifespan by making changes to their diet, sleep, exercise, and other habits. These recommendations promote a second app by the creators, called “Most Days,” which offers AI-powered tools to help users adopt healthier habits.
While the death estimate is free, users can pay for personalized recommendations and the option to view an ongoing projection of their remaining time.
