According to Vibes.okdiario , The State of Texas will continue issuing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) payments through December 28, 2024. To determine whether you will receive your payment early or later in the month, refer to the USDA’s schedule based on your Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number.
For example:
- If your EDG ends in 2, your SNAP payment will be issued on December 5.
- If your EDG ends in 3, your payment will be on December 6.
- Those with an EDG ending in 4 will receive their payment on December 7.
Payments from December 9 to December 15:
- EDG ending in 5: December 9
- EDG ending in 6: December 11
- EDG ending in 7: December 12
- EDG ending in 8: December 13
- EDG ending in 9: December 15
These payments from December 1 to 15 will apply to those who certified before June 2020.

- EDG ending in 00-03, 54-57: December 16
- EDG ending in 04-06, 58-60: December 17
- EDG ending in 07-10, 61-64: December 18

- EDG ending in 18-20, 72-74: December 21
- EDG ending in 21-24, 75-78: December 22
- EDG ending in 25-27, 79-81: December 23
- EDG ending in 28-31, 82-85: December 24
- EDG ending in 32-34, 86-88: December 25
- EDG ending in 35-38, 89-92: December 26
- EDG ending in 39-41, 46-49, 93-95: December 27
- EDG ending in 42-45, 50-53, 96-99: December 28
SNAP recipients can check their Lone Star Card balance for updated payment information according to these dates.
