Elon Musk’s Cybertruck Gets Trolled by Stanford Band in Hilarious Halftime Show

The Stanford University Marching Band, officially known as the “Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band,” is famous for its unconventional approach and willingness to push boundaries. Unlike typical college bands, it is entirely student-run, requires no musical experience to join, and lacks a formal director. Instead of traditional uniforms, members sport a quirky dress code that includes a red blazer or vest, black pants, and the “ugliest tie you can get your hands on.”

Known for its comedic routines that often troll opponents, the Stanford band blends sketch comedy with marching band performances.

During halftime of Stanford’s game against Virginia Tech, the band took aim at Tesla owner Elon Musk with a humorous routine featuring a student dressed as a Cybertruck recklessly crashing into various objects. This act cleverly mirrored the current struggles of the Stanford football program while delivering a lighthearted jab at Musk and his much-maligned vehicle.

Since its release in late 2023, the Cybertruck has faced significant challenges, including multiple recalls and ongoing issues reported by owners. Many consider it a “rolling metal deathtrap,” making the Stanford band’s playful mockery even more fitting.

While the Cardinal football team may not be winning games, the band continues to shine with its unforgettable performances, proving that humor can thrive even in tough times.
