A blast of cold air is sweeping through the region, bringing a sudden end to November’s warm spell. The coldest temperatures of the season are expected tonight, with a freeze warning now in effect. Clear skies, light north winds, and low dewpoints will cause temperatures to drop into the mid-20s inland and near freezing along the coast. Sunday will see pleasant weather with highs in the low 60s, but temperatures will again fall into the 20s and 30s by Sunday night. The cooler trend is expected to continue into the week, with temperatures rising to seasonal averages by mid-week, along with a chance of light rain.
