For the 14th consecutive year, Goodyear is teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to host toy drives at its Blimp bases across Ohio, Florida, and California. These special events offer the public an opportunity to donate toys to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation while also enjoying exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the iconic Blimps.
In Ohio, the Wingfoot Lake Blimp hangar will open its doors from December 6-8, between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Florida’s event on December 7 will feature open house tours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., while California’s event will take place on December 6-7, with tours offered on both days.
Over the past 14 years, this collaboration has successfully collected 252,000 toys and raised $664,000 for the Toys for Tots program. “It’s a unique opportunity to share the magic of the Blimp while giving back to the community,” said Laura Duda of Goodyear.
