$431 SNAP Benefits: Are Your Food Stamps Available for November?

The USDA has confirmed that several states, the District of Columbia, and Guam will be issuing SNAP benefits through November 10, 2024. This means that the last round of payments in these areas will be sent on November 8, 9, or 10. It is important to note that while the maximum SNAP payment amounts are consistent across the 48 contiguous states and D.C. (up to $292 for an individual), Guam’s higher inflation rate results in higher payments for residents.

Important Considerations for SNAP Recipients

As SNAP payments are issued on different days based on the state, it is crucial for recipients to know their specific paydays to plan accordingly. Additionally, SNAP benefits can now be used for online grocery shopping across all 50 states, making it more convenient for recipients to access food at participating retailers.

Remember, the maximum SNAP benefit for an individual in most states is up to $292, but this amount varies based on the size of the household. Families with more members can receive higher benefits, with families of four eligible for up to $975 in benefits, and households of eight able to receive up to $1,756.

If you are in one of the affected states or territories, be sure to check your specific pay schedule to avoid any delays in accessing your benefits.
