A Los Gatos man, Phillip Silva, 42, is facing sexual assault accusations after offering massage services at his San Jose business, according to police.
Silva was arrested last week and booked into Santa Clara County Jail by the San Jose Police Department (SJPD). An alleged victim reported being sexually assaulted by Silva on June 10 at a business located on Lincoln Avenue. Officer Tanya Hernandez stated, “The suspect offered massage services within a separated office space of a business. Upon arrival, officers determined the survivor was sexually assaulted by the suspect during a massage session at the suspect’s place of business.”
The SJPD has not disclosed the name of the San Jose business involved in the case.
Detectives from the SJPD Sexual Assault Investigations Unit initiated an investigation into Silva, leading to his arrest on September 26.
Silva’s arraignment is scheduled for October 28 at the Santa Clara County Hall of Justice, and he has not yet entered a plea, as per court records.
