California High School Girls Volleyball Top 20 Rankings – October 1, 2024

After an action-packed weekend at the Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas, California volleyball teams found themselves enjoying a quieter week. The tournament featured a flurry of upsets and intense matches, but the aftermath saw few major matchups on the schedule, leading to minimal changes in the SBLive/High School on SI California Top 20 girls volleyball rankings.

Despite the lull in high-profile clashes, there were still significant results worth noting. In a thrilling Bay League showdown, Mira Costa of Manhattan Beach defeated Redondo Union, while Sierra Canyon from Chatsworth triumphed over Marymount in a gripping five-set battle.

Outside of Southern California, Clovis pulled off a surprise victory against Clovis North in the Tri-River Athletic Conference, and Carondelet from Concord secured a win against Foothill of Pleasanton in the East Bay Athletic League.
