Four suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a man during a robbery in San Jose late Monday night, police reported on Wednesday.
Officers responded to a call around 11:58 p.m. regarding an unconscious individual in the 1000 block of Saratoga Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim unresponsive and not breathing. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to preliminary investigations, the victim was attacked and shot at least once by the four suspects during the robbery. Authorities have identified three of the suspects: 36-year-old Daniel Andino, 19-year-old Jose Andino, and 18-year-old Amelia Sistrunk. The fourth suspect is a 17-year-old minor. All four have been arrested and booked into jail on murder charges.
The investigation is ongoing, with police looking into the motive and circumstances surrounding the crime. This incident marks the 25th homicide recorded in San Jose in 2024.
